- Verify that production equipment, gauges, and tools are properly calibrated and used according to established procedures.
- Assist in reviewing and maintaining work instructions, control plans, visual aids, and check sheets to ensure accuracy and compliance on the production floor.
- Monitor quality trends, analyze performance data, and communicate recurring issues to leadership.
- Support rework disposition by providing inspection results, documentation, and technical input for decision‑making.
- Participate in line walks, audits, and process checks to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and procedural requirements.
- Train and support operators on inspection methods, defect identification, and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate and timely quality records, including inspection logs, defect reports, and audit documentation.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including Operations, Engineering, Program Management, and customers—to ensure quality standards are defined, understood, and effectively executed.
- Develop and help implement quality processes, procedures, and statistical quality control methods to improve product and process performance.
- Investigate nonconformances, determine root causes, and recommend or support effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Review in‑process rejections, assist with product dispositions, and support documentation for customer and internal reporting needs.
- Serve as a customer-facing Quality representative, which may include providing updates or participating in customer business briefings.
- Escalate urgent or high‑impact quality issues in accordance with established communication protocols.
