L3Harris Technologies has an opening Integration & Test Engineer. This position will be on-site in Palm Bay, Fl. The candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and a collaborative team setting.

In this role, the individual will be responsible for providing support during Space payload assembly, integration, and test to full Space Vehicle Testing to customer-funded programs efforts within our Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) business unit of L3Harris Corporation. This position will be responsible for leading the test effort through the product life cycle activities ranging from program inception, requirements analysis including testability, test architecture, to integration, test and production support activities. The Lead Integration & Test Engineer will define complex test strategies to verify mission capabilities while working with a team comprised of multiple internal organizations and sub-contractors for the full integration and test of the system. The role will include occasional direct support to Programs and Customers (internal & external) to ensure test execution activities for existing portfolio programs and support to future pursuits.

Essential Functions:
- Provides mastery-level system integration and test engineering expertise and technical leadership to a team during verification activities including functional, environmental qualification, and environmental production tests of Space equipment (spacecraft bus, communication & mission payloads)
- Responsible for leading the developing Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) design(s) to meet all technical requirements and specifications to test space vehicle, payload, and/or test bed(s)
- Responsible of generating test documentation (e.g., Test Requirements Documents, Test Design Documents, Test Plans and Test Procedures)
- Directs support personnel in the day-to-day execution of the system test and integration tasks for Space Payloads and/or Space Vehicles
- Responsible of EGSE / UUT selloff, checkouts, and support to all phases of the system Life-Cycle (design, analysis, manufacturing, test, verification/validation and delivery)
- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track issues through to resolution
- Analyze test results, detect issues, and track root causes in collaboration with the development team
- Support the root cause, troubleshooting, and corrective action process (as required)
- Represent SI&T during major design reviews such as SRR, SDR, PDR, CDR, TRR
- Support to all phases of the product Life-Cycle (design, analysis, manufacturing, test, verification/validation and delivery)
- Acts as subject matter expert and/or resource within the field
- Travel to support integration activities and post-delivery support (as required)
- Ability to work extended and weekend hours (as required)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
- 5+ years of experience of System Integration and Test (SI&T)
- Active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience testing military or space qualified hardware designs
- Experience with hardware and software requirements testability, definition, block diagrams, interconnect diagrams, and software & hardware integration
- Experience with requirements derivation and tracking using DOORs (or equivalent) including requirements verification traceability matrix (RVTM)
- Test beds and simulators design experience
- LabVIEW and/or TestStand Programming experience
- Experience working with multi-discipline technical teams through all phases of program (initial concept, proposals, SRR, PDR/CDR, I&T, final sell-off)
- Experience with RF measurements and testing, tools, and test equipment including but not limited to Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, Logic Analyzers, Signal Generators, O-Scopes, Power Supplies
- Familiarity with COSMOS, InControl, or other Satellite/ Telemetry Tracking & Control (TT&C) Scripting languages
- Familiarity with automation and scripting languages (e.g. Java, Python, Perl, Visual Studio code)
- Familiarity with Jira/Bit Bucket/Confluence
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in mentoring and growing technical staff
- Team-player, able to work in a large program and fast-paced environment
