Job Description:
We are seeking a Sr. Specialist, Government Compliance to join the growing Aerojet Rocketdyne Segment of L3Harris Technologies at our Facility located in Orange, VA.
This position is a core records keeping function which provides direct support to each program/contract with customer/Government property. The function maintains accountable transaction records of property required to comply with contract terms and conditions.
Essential Functions:
- Under limited general direction the Sr. Specialist, Government Compliance performs tasks relative to the control of Government and Company property.
- 30% monitors status and usage of government and company property.
- 20% coordinates periodic inventories of property.
- 20% prepares contract required reports.
- 20% updates movement and transactions in the Maestro System.
- 10% acts as a liaison between Supply Chain and Suppliers
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior government property/logistics analyst experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior government property/logistics analyst experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior government property/logistics analyst experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- May have practical knowledge of project management.
- Attention to detail and basic computer skills.
- Experience with MS Office and good written communications skills.
- Solid understanding of asset management and the governmental contracting processes.
