Job Description:
The position is responsible for performing the physical or administrative tasks supporting the distribution of materials, parts, supplies, equipment, and rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for coordinating shipment of L3Harris products, both domestic and international, in accordance with U.S. laws and regulations; Includes documentation requirements and filing of exports with U.S. Customs on international shipments.
- Work within the company’s Ship system to track shipments and maintain accurate records of shipping activities, including shipment status, delivery dates, and any delays or issues encountered
- Communicate shipment updates to internal stakeholders, customers, and suppliers, ensuring all parties are informed about the progress of their orders.
- Proactively identify and resolve any shipping-related problems or discrepancies to minimize delays and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Working within government and customer portals, to include WAWF, Exostar, DCMA will be a requirement of this position.
- Review contract /purchase order for shipping data points, ensuring products are shipped in accordance with contractual requirements.
- This position requires attention to detail, good computer skills, problem-solving abilities, and exceptional communication skills. Candidate should also have good time management and organizational skills.
Qualifications:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Ability to obtain a security clearance.
- Proficient computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite/ Microsoft 365
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Knowledgeable in the Export Administration Regulations (15CFR)
- Knowledgeable in the International Traffic In Arms Regulations (22CFR)
- Experience working with imports (19CFR)
- Knowledge of MIL-STD-2073 a plus.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $41,000- $76,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
