About your next Challenge as a Non-Destructive Test Controller:
You will perform inspections using various non-destructive testing methods on aircraft structures and/or components.
What will you do:
• Inspect structures and components according to pre-established procedures:
- Liquid penetrant testing
- Eddy current testing
- Magnetic particle inspection
- Radiography
- Ultrasonic testing
- Thermography
• Prepare inspection reports
Required Skills and Experiences:
• College certificate in non-destructive testing or equivalent
• Hold a Level 2 certification from the CGSB (Canadian Government Specification Board) or equivalent
• CF-18 experience an asset
• Hold Level II competencies in at least one of the following methods:
- Liquid penetrant testing
- Eddy current testing
- Magnetic particle inspection
- Radiography
- Ultrasonic testing
- Thermography
Eligibility Criteria (Mandatory):
- Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada “Reliability” status and Level 2 (Secret) security clearance.
- Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
