Job Description:

As a Program FinanceSpecialist, you will support programs in our Agile Development Group Division.  You will be responsible for all aspects of Program Finance for a set of contracts. This position performs analyses related to programs including profitability, cash flow, forecasts, Earned Value and quarterly EACs. The Agile Development Group (ADG) specializes in developing disruptive, next-generation technologies for advanced Unmanned Air Systems (UAS / UAV), advanced radar systems, next-generation weapon systems, and other RF sensor technologies using small company agility and big company experience.

Essential Functions:

• Supporting earned value management, baseline, and estimate to complete changes.
• Coordinate with Program Managers and Finance leadership to submit accurate quarterly EACs.
• Supporting internal and external customer financial reporting.
• Support monthly revenue, profit, and cash forecasting, including variance analysis.
• Support cost control, achieving financial targets, and driving cash flow.
• Ability to assess and quantify the business risks and opportunities associated with orders, sales, profit, and cash.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior finance experience OR Graduate Degree with 2 years of prior finance experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
• Experience with earned value management (EVMS)
• 2+ Years’ Experience using Excel (pivot tables, lookups, SUMIFs)

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Experience with cost/schedule development, budgeting, Excel spreadsheets, Customer/Management reporting, and forecasting
• Experience with financial forecasting best practices
• Process improvement oriented, ability to identify and implement ideas

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Ashburn, VA is $75,000 - $139,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
