Job Description:

Corporate Headquarters of L3Harris Technologies has an opening for a Finance Specialist to join our team in Melbourne, FL. This individual will be the Expense Analyst for the Global Business Services(GBS) function, supporting senior leadership with detailed reporting and proactive analysis of the financials. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial analysis, planning, and reporting. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to optimize financial performance and support strategic decision-making.  

Essential Functions:

• Serves as primary contact for GBS financials
• Lead the annual planning cycle with comprehensive reports and proactive recommendations to leadership
• Provide timely and accurate monthly reporting including variance and trend analysis for management review
• Identifies and monitors the Risk and Opportunities to meet targets, alerts leadership and recommends areas for closure through trend analysis and specific actions
• Support the development of Forward Pricing Rate Proposals, perform variance analysis, and own the monthly allocation billings
• Streamline and automate processes for transforming financial data into decision making information
• Support internal and external audit/compliance requirements
• Prepare various ad hoc analyses, reports, and presentations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Self-motivated and strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with people of all levels within the organization
• Proactively solve problems and issues in a timely manner with general supervision
• Proven experience in developing and maintaining financial models.
• Experience with PeopleSoft and Hyperion Planning
• Ability to work with management in a fast-paced, multiple project environment
