- Ensure supplier production aligns to demand, quality requirements, and schedule commitments, and actively resolve supply chain issues at the source.
- Partner on design and DFx
- Provide technical leadership for DFx initiatives (Design for Manufacturability, Assembly, Test, etc.).
- Evaluate engineering changes and assess material and supply chain impacts to protect cost, schedule, and quality.
- Drive cross-functional problem solving & continuous improvement
- Use structured, cross-functional problem-solving to identify supply chain and operational pain points to deliver sustainable improvements.
- Champion process improvements that enhance product development and supply chain efficiency and reliability.

- Proactively identify critical supplier risks and opportunities; develop and execute mitigation and recovery plans.
- Provide clear, data-driven status updates to program and executive leadership on supply chain health, risk posture, and strategy.
Essential Functions:
- Serve as supply chain / supplier oversight for multiple suppliers with required travel of approximately 25%–45%.
- Apply strong verbal and written communication skills to influence cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Work across a variety of contract types (e.g., FFP, FPIF, T&M, Labor Hour, Cost Reimbursement with fixed-fee, incentive fee, or award fee).
- Act as Cost Account Manager for Supply Chain, managing budgets and sales forecasts.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (TS/SCI preferred but not required to start).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 12 years of prior related experience, OR Graduate degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
- Demonstrated mastery of program and supply chain management in complex aerospace, defense, or space hardware environments.
