Job Description:
Oversee the global IT Shared Services operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in personnel management, extensive technical knowledge, and expertise in financial shared services allocations. They should be capable of operating and communicating effectively at all organizational levels. This position reports to the Vice President of the AR and International business areas and is designed to be divisional, sector, and segment agnostic. The Director of IT Shared Services (ITSS) International is responsible for leading the deployment and ensuring the ongoing success of L3Harris IT shared services outside the continental US, in alignment with the requirements set by the Global Technology and Business Services (GTBS) leadership team.
Essential Functions:
- Senior IT Executive responsible for overarching IT International Shared Services strategy, implementation and sustainment.
- Responsible for evolving the OCONUS IT shared services model with all L3Harris international sites, and providing critical oversite, direction and management of the financial allocation methodologies as well as functional alignment of all international requirements.
- Direct line leader of the international shared services IT organization consisting of 120 international employees across 3 regions (EMEA, APAC, Americas - Canada), reporting directly to the CIO.
- Manage IT allocations within the countries of Canada, UK, and Australia; guiding local accounting on the collection and allocation of specified costs. Analyzing and working with businesses to understand cost drivers and forecasts.
- This role will collaborate closely with International IT shared service leadership to develop operational capabilities within the region and across the enterprise.
- Responsible for ensuring all IT shared services and regional ITSS functional managers meet the appropriate service levels, objectives and measures of ITSS
- Ensuring that clear lines of communication exist between the corporate GTBS leadership and the regional IT leadership teams.
- Lead, manage, and drive multi-skilled regional working groups to ensure alignment with our business stakeholders irrespective of Business Segments.
- Ensure economies of scale are applied (where appropriate) to drive waste cost out of the region.
- Awareness and accommodation of various time zone and dateline meetings as required.
- Less than 10% travel
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science or equivalent, with a minimum of 15 years of prior related experience or Graduate Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science or equivalent with a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
- 10 plus years of managerial / leadership experience.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a broad group of stakeholders across cultural and time zone boundaries.
- Experience in evaluating business requirements and translating them into technical designs.
- Customer First Approach – focused on increasing the value proposition to the customer.
- Demonstrated knowledge in developing IT architectures and strategies for a global defense company.
- Proven leadership abilities in guiding a geographically distributed IT team through multiple projects and adapting to changing business conditions.
- Ability and willingness to modify strategies and operational practices to respond to changing business conditions.
- The ability to ensure the on time and full delivery of customer requirements, in a changing environment.
- The ability to workwith others across the global IT shared services enterprise and L3Harris company to achieve successful results.
- Continually looking for ways to improve the function and streamline activities in line with ITSS strategy. Lead IT team members to drive, achieve, and capture e3 savings results.
