Job Description:

Visionary and results driven director who leads the strategic planning, implementation and optimization of our digital systems, with a focus on SAP ERP, Teamcenter PLM and Solumina MES solutions and integrations.  This role drives collaboration, consistency and excellence across the three workstreams within IT as well as with close business engagement.  The role drives operational excellence, enhancing product lifecycle efficiencies and enables data driven decision making across the enterprise. 

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital transformation roadmap aligned with business goals.  Collaborate with business and IT leaders to align digital initiatives with corporate strategy
  • Champion a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across IT and our business partners
  • Lead the IT implementation of new ERP, PLM and MES solutions with close alignment to the business peers and executive leadership
  • Ensure seamless data flow and interoperability between systems to support end to end business needs while also managing the business through ensuring little to no customizations
  • Optimize system performance, user adoption and ROI through continuous improvement initiatives
  • Partner with IT, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Finance teams to understand needs and deliver scalable solutions
  • Oversee large scale digital transformation projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, scope management, stakeholder satisfaction and transition to operational support.  Support change management efforts to drive user adoption and minimize business disruptions during transition
  • Manage multiple vendor relationships and ensure vendors align to project milestones and deliverables
  • Promote data integrity, governance, and analytics capabilities across platforms while ensuring compliance with ITAR, DFARS, AS9100 etc.
  • Enable real-time visibility into operations and product development through integrated reporting tools
  • 25% travel will be required if outside of the Melbourne, Fl area.  Some travel required during design and hypercare activities of program execution
  • TS/SCI clearance preferred but not required, ability to obtain a clearance is a requirement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 15 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 19 years of prior related experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in digital transformation, IT leadership and enterprise systems management.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Proven experience leading ERP (preferably SAP), PLM (preferably Teamcenter) and MES (preferably Solumina) implementations
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing and product development process
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to influence directly and indirectly
  • Ability to manage complexity and drive clarity in ambiguous environments
  • Ability to serve as a digital thought leader, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
  • Experience in the A&D industry
  • PMP, Six Sigma or similar certifications
