Job Title: Associate, Procurement
Job Location: Melbourne, FL
Job Description: At L3Harris, our corporate supply chain organization is a high visibility team focused on leveraging company scale, enabling strategic tools and developing key supplier relationships. This role resides in the corporate Center of Excellence organization and makes its transformative impact by building Supply Chain capabilities across the company, a role critical to Harris’ Supply Chain transformation journey. Responsibilities will include:
- Organize and analyze data sets originating from our ERP systems, data enrichment reports, prime supplier subcontracting reports, and in-house knowledge management systems.
- Conduct a deep dive on Supplier classification across the corporation to identify common suppliers and arrange suppliers in their desired classification
- Understand and improve Supplier Classification
- Develop analytical tools that can improve the velocity of classification compared to the velocity today
- Collaborate with the Purchasing teams and segment teams to get a better understanding of the process and suggest improvements to the process for improved supplier classification
- Work closely with the IT teams to enable systemic improvement of existing analytical tools that integrate supplier classification
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Operations Management, General Business Management, Business Administration or related field
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (e.g., advanced formulas, functions, pivot tables, data validation).
- Hands on experience in use analytical tools such as Tableau, Power BI etc.
- GPA of 3.0 or greater
Preferred Skills:
- Strong data analytics, organization, and data visualization skills, including experience managing workflows that synthesize wide-ranging data from disparate sources.
- Training / experience working with quantitative and qualitative data sets (e.g., financial, savings analyses), with the ability to analyze key performance indicators and metrics and evaluate and benchmark program performance.
- Strong organizational abilities and solid communication (written and oral) and presentation skills.
- Initiative to work independently along with the ability to work with remote teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills that support providing insights and recommendations
