Job Schedule: 9/80; Every other Friday off. Approximately 2:00 pm to 11:30 pm.
Job Description:
As a Manufacturing Technician D, you will be responsible for contributing to the success of our space manufacturing operations. Ideal candidates must be able to work in a highly regulated build space and work with complex mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies. Note, this job is for 2nd shift, approximately 2:00 pm to 11:30 pm.
Essential Functions:
- Set up testing stations in alignment with the provided diagrams and schematics, while maintaining a safe and orderly workspace.
- Adhere to predefined testing protocols and safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Accurately complete datasheets and review test data, compiling data packs for finished products.
- Maintain accurate documentation and track the status of assigned program(s), contributing to efficient workflow and communication.
- Maintain equipment at workstations, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient workflow and problem resolution.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Requires highly developed job knowledge/skills. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
- 4 years or more experience in technical knowledge and skills in troubleshooting down to the component level is desired; solid understanding and working knowledge of test equipment such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, thermal chambers, etc.
- Must be a United States Citizen.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to move assemblies from one manufacturing area to another within the building.
- Able to push standard production carts in the hallway from various manufacturing areas.
- Able to pass binocular vision test and pass J-STD-001 soldering certification.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Analog and digital troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with environmental testing.
