Job Description:
As applicable, works autonomously within their designated program. Responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies. Fully comprehends and interprets including a variety of technical specifications, IPC knowledge, terms, and documents. Able to identify problems and issues in all situations resulting in collaborating with engineering in a viable solution. Self-starter with the ability to complete complex assignments while determining and/or following methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications and work authorization documentation. Must be flexible in supporting the program needs by being readily available to flex between processes as necessary. Readily available to support other programs whenever there is a business need. Consistently lead in team meetings with a positive attitude. Must be a resource to other employees in areas of expertise, providing on the job training when necessary. Expert using hand tools including but not limited to screw drivers, torque wrenches, soldering equipment, and epoxy dispensing tools. Be able to work under a low power microscope. Responsible for performing complex functions associated with all mechanical assembly operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate complex operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Works with engineers in conducting experiments.

Qualifications:
- High School / Secondary Education plus 8+ years of experience. 2 years post-secondary/AA-AS Degree plus 4+ years experience
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Experience
