Essential Functions:

• Test, configure, troubleshoot, and repair equipment in support of the FAA SBSII program
• Assemble production cabinets, cable assemblies, and subassemblies in accordance with engineering documentation and work instructions
• Perform functional test and verification of radio, server, and DC power equipment
• Configure radio, server, and DC power equipment to meet program requirements
• Track parts, assemblies, and equipment by asset number to maintain accurate production, test, repair, and configuration records using PTC Windchill.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues and support implementation of design updates
• Support hardware integration, system checkout, and readiness activities
• Follow established processes for quality, safety, workmanship, and configuration control
• Assist with identification and disposition of failed hardware and recommend corrective actions as needed
• Ability to obtain and maintain an FAA Public Trust Clearance is required prior to starting on day 1

Qualifications:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
• Requires the ability to obtain and maintain an FAA Public Trust Clearance.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Experience supporting FAA, DoD, or other regulated government programs
• Experience with cabinet integration, cable fabrication, and electro-mechanical assembly
• Experience in assembly, test, troubleshooting, configuration, and repair of electronic equipment
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and technical work instructions
• Familiarity with radio, server, and/or DC power equipment
• Experience using computer-based systems for data entry, records management, or asset tracking
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and coordinate with engineering and program personnel
