Job Description:
The systems administrator is responsible for providing support at a desktop, server, and networking level. Some days the task list may solely be desktop issues and other days may be more server related, but they will be required to go back and forth to support multiple efforts. The systems administrator will be required to have a solid understanding of windows servers and networking concepts. Along with the daily tasks, the ideal candidate will need to stay focused and organized, so they can listen and adapt to the customers’ needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience or 2 years post-Secondary/ Associates Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
- Active Secret Security Clearance.
- Current CompTIA Security+ certification
- Experience Working with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP
- Understanding of Routing, Switching, and the TCP/IP protocol
- Proven ability to read and write scripts in PowerShell and other scripting languages
- Experience with virtual machines (primarily Hyper-V)
- Experience with current Windows Server operation systems
- Stong Understanding of SCCM, package setup and deployement.
- Stong Understanding of SCCM/MECM, and PSAD3
- Experiencing Troubleshooting Desktop hardware and End User Issues.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Demonstrated self-starter - efficient in achieving goals and proactive in pursuing subsequent task.
- Maintain a positive relationship with customers on a day-to-day basis.
- Ability lift and carry equipment up to 30 pounds.
