Job Descritpion:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Illustrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional technical illustration skills and have extensive experience with Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. The candidate will be responsible for generating technical illustrations for technical manuals, manipulating engineering models in NX, and following instructions from technical write-ups. Additionally, the role may occasionally involve assisting with photo shoots and contributing to 3D model creations.

•    Experience in reading engineering drawings
•    Experience manipulating 3D models
•    Attention to Detail

•    Experience with CAD Software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, NX)
•    Vector Graphics Skills
•    Knowledge of Industry Standards
•    Time Management

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s Degree and Minimum of 2 years experience or minimum of 6 years of prior related experience
• Requires an active Secret Clearance
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in technical illustration
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop with at least 4 years of hands-on experience
• Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience manipulating 3D models 
• Demonstrated attention to detail with a track record of accuracy in technical illustrations
• At least 2 years of experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
• Expertise in creating vector graphics with a minimum of 2 years of experience
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in technical illustration

Preferred Skills:

• Blender 3D, Maya, or 3D Max
• Photography (traditional and/or 360 panoramic)
• Unity and/or Unreal
•  Proven time management skills with a history of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills with experience collaborating in cross-functional teams
• Strong understanding of technical concepts, supported by relevant coursework or professional experience
