Job Description:
As a Supplier Quality Engineer at L3Harris, you'll ensure supplier parts meet quality standards by reviewing documents and designs. Ideal for a new graduate, this role involves maintaining manufacturing quality and collaborating with teams to enhance product standards. You'll analyze supplier data to improve processes and prevent risks.
Essential Functions:
- Regularly reviews supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality standards and engineering requirements.
- Analyzes supplier quality metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborates with suppliers to establish clear quality benchmarks and performance indicators.
- Maintains and improves On-Time Delivery (OTD) through effective monitoring and management.
- Provides support for incoming Quality Control Material Review Board (QC MRB) processes.
- Able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
- Travel up to 30%.
Job Qualification Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
- United States Citizenship required with ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
- Quality Engineering experience.
- Proven problem-solving experience.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must be able to travel up to 30%.
