Job Description:
L3Harris is currently seeking a Lead, Software Engineer to join our team. This position will be based at our Greenville, TX facility and offers a 9/80 schedule.
Essential Functions:
- 6+ years of full-stack development using C#, .NET, JAVA, SQL, Vue.js, Python.
- Strong Experience in Agile development and essentials of DevOps.
- Software component development, implementation, and integration in Linux.
- Experience using scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
- Proven record of communicating effectively and work closely with assigned and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to analyze requirements and design tradeoffs against scope, cost, and schedule constraints.
- Champions continuous improvement, process innovation, and lessons learned activities.
Qualifications:
- Eligible to obtain DoD Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience, or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior relevant experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience in Design Patterns and Frameworks.
- Experience in SQL/NoSQL database design and queries.
- Extensive software and hardware troubleshooting background.
- Experience with software automated test tools and frameworks.
- Active Secret or TS/SCI clearance.
- Advanced multi-threaded, parallel, and/or GPU programming.
- Google Protocol Buffers and network socket programming
