Job Description:
The L3Harris Export Administrator will be essential to coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure minimal delay in the shipping process. Collaboration will include working with the pack team, Customer Care Center, Trade Compliance, and Product Management.
Essential Functions:
- Coordination with freight forwarders/carriers for best rates/routes/ETA
- Certify on lithium ion battery transportation
- Break down equipment by HTS, ECCN, COO, commercial value and complete AES filings for courier shipments and shipper’s letter of instructions for freight forwarder shipments
- Track all shipments until delivery is completed, address any delays/questions/requests for additional documentation quickly to ensure customs clearance
- Understand and execute to the CE process
- Understand and execute to the new additional EU requirements
- Understand requirements/regulations for each country
- In addition to exports, Federal orders have special labeling requirements. Will train on UID/Mil-Std-129 labeling requirements, will need to coordinate with the customer care center, production team, and pack team to comply with Federal/contractual regulations as a secondary responsibility to exports. Will use specific software for the scanning of UID labels for validation/verification of the barcodes and will use different specific software for the creation of the Mil-Std-129 labels per contract details.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's with 4 years prior export experience, 2 year post-secondary/AA Degree and 8 years prior experience or Graduate Degree with 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- SAP experience
- Microsoft Office experience, specifically Word, Outlook, Excel
- AES filing experience
- Experience working with freight forwarders
