Job Description:
Direct all phases of programs from inception through completion in accordance with L3Harris processes and procedures. Drive program execution to achieve business and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow for new, continuing, or current programs. Lead the negotiation of contracts and contract changes. Lead the preparation of proposals, business plans, performance Statements of Work (SOW) and specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contracts.
Essential Functions:
• Manage the cost, schedule, and technical performance of manufacturing and sustainment programs
• Monitor all program activities to ensure compliance with product specifications, performance requirements, schedules, and cost commitments
• Manage programs through the integration of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) processes and procedures
• Identify existing or potential program risks and obtain solutions such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications
• Ensure all required resources such as engineering, human resources, production, computer resources and licenses, and facilities are available for the program
• Act as the primary customer contact for program activities and participates in program review sessions with customers to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance
• Participate in and contribute to internal cost, schedule, and technical reporting requirements
• Make moderate to substantial improvement or enhancements to systems and processes to improve performance of job area
• Opportunities for problem solving and innovation are complex and may require comprehensive information gathering, analysis, and investigation to understand the problem
• Responsible for providing guidance, coaching, and training to other employees
• Responsible for managing complex projects at this level, involving delegation of work and review of work products
• Oversee the generation, quality, and timeliness of all written customer deliverables and reports
• Ability to travel < 25% of the time
Qualifications:
• Must Have an Active Secret Clearance
• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant project or program management experience; Or, Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience; Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
Preferred Additional Skills:
• Strong Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience
• Strong people skills with experience leading and collaborating in a multi-disciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team
• PMP certification or equivalent desired
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)
• Outstanding work ethic and commitment to organizational success
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New Jersey state is $104,500-$193,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
