Job Description:
Experienced professional with proficient knowledge of job area and practical knowledge of project management. May manage projects or processes with general supervision. Communicates with contacts inside and outside of own department to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures. Recommends enhancements to systems and processes. Works to achieve operational targets for specific programs and projects with moderate impact on departmental results.
Essential Functions:
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to establish directives to achieve targets and objectives related to property management.
- Serves as liaison between company and external government and customer representatives and contracts teams
- Assists in developing, implementing, and monitoring Property Management programs and policies to ensure compliance with both internal and external requirements.
- Participates in Property Management System audits and assessments and provides documentation, as requested.
- Explains and interprets operational processes, practices and procedures of the job area to others within the organization.
- Conducts periodic inventories and audits of tools, equipment, materials, and records, both on and off-site.
- Maintains accurate documentation of property throughout its lifecycle.
- Works under moderate supervision. Works independently on larger, moderately complex projects or assignments.
- Ability to work in multiple locations and environments including offices, laboratories, manufacturing areas, and warehouses.
- Perform all other duties as assigned within scope of abilities.
Qualifications:
- Requires practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience or 2 years post-Secondary/ Associates Degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
- 1-3 years of exp. with FAR/DFAR
Preferred Additional Skills:
Experience working with various parts and products such as test equipment, tooling, and hardware
Experience reading, interpreting, and applying legal documents, contracts, or regulations
Strong teamwork, interpersonal, problem-solving, and analysis skills.
Self-directed with demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and assess priorities effectively.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
