Compensation Range: Between $80,000 - $120,000 CDN annually

A hands on Supply Chain Operations (Warehouse) Supervisor responsible for direct day to day execution of warehouse, tool crib, and logistics activities. The incumbent leads a team of six to ten unionized Operational Support Services (OSS) employees supporting supply chain operations for aircraft maintenance and fleet readiness.

This role is critical to ensuring safe, compliant, and timely material movement, including receiving, shipping, inventory control, and issue of parts and tools to Operations / Maintenance. The position operates under the direction of the Supply Chain Manager, Operations, and focuses on operational execution, workforce leadership, and compliance, not program or budget ownership.

The Senior Supervisor is expected to be familiar with warehousing operations in a production or aircraft maintenance environment and to support process implementation, adherence, auditing, and continuous improvement, particularly during periods of operational ramp up or transition.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Execution

  • Lead and coordinate daily warehouse, tool crib, and logistics activities to support aircraft maintenance and operational readiness;
  • Ensure timely and accurate receiving, storage, issuing, and shipping of parts, tools, and consumables;
  • Execute work priorities for the assigned shift in alignment with direction from the Supply Chain Manager, Operations;
  • Track and ensure proper completion and recording of material movement, inventory transactions, and associated documentation in applicable systems; and
  • Support deployment preparation and surge activity as directed, including extended hours or shift adjustments when required.

Leadership & Supervision

  • Provide direct supervision to unionized OSS employees, including work assignment, performance feedback, and coaching;
  • Facilitate daily shift stand up meetings and communicate priorities, risks, and safety messages;
  • Approve employee timesheets, overtime, travel requests, and expenses in accordance with delegated authority;
  • Coordinate onboarding and on the job training for new OSS employees in support of staffing ramp up initiatives; and
  • Escalate operational issues, staffing gaps, and compliance concerns to the Supply Chain Manager, Operations in a timely manner.

Health & Safety

  • Conduct regular workplace inspections and follow up on corrective actions;
  • Participate in Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) committee meetings and implement assigned actions;
  • Complete accident and incident reports and support investigations; and
  • Promote a strong safety culture consistent with the L3Harris Zero Injury Plan.

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure daily operations comply with airworthiness, quality, and regulatory requirements;
  • Respond to and document corrective action requests (CARs/JIRAs) within assigned scope;
  • Create, maintain, and enforce local work instructions and procedures within delegated authority;
  • Support internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of assigned corrective actions; and
  • Promote and participate in continuous improvement initiatives and the RISE program.

Cross Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Material Management, Procurement, Maintenance Planning, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Airworthiness PRAA, Programs, and Operations/Maintenance Supervisors;
  • Support implementation of new processes, tools, or systems as directed by Supply Chain leadership; and
  • Provide operational input and feedback to support planning, risk identification, and workload forecasting.

Qualifications:

  • College diploma or undergraduate degree in logistics, supply chain, business management, or a related field, or equivalent operational experience;
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in supply chain, warehouse, or logistics operations, including supervisory experience;
  • Demonstrated experience supervising unionized employees in an operational environment preferred;
  • Ability to make timely decisions within defined authority and escalate appropriately;
  • Strong customer focus and results oriented mindset;
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with employees, peers, and management;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; bilingualism (English/French) is an asset;
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills in a fast paced environment;
  • Working knowledge of labor relations principles and applicable collective agreements; and
  • Knowledge of occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain Government of Canada Reliability Status and Secret Level II / NATO Secret security clearance; and
  • Must meet U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements.
