Job Description:

Aerojet Rocketdyne is a world-recognized aerospace and defense leader providing propulsion and energetics to its space, missile defense, and strategic, tactical missile and armaments customers throughout domestic and international markets. We offer a complete line of propulsion products for launch vehicles, missile defense, and advanced hypersonic propulsion. L3Harris Corporation is seeking an experienced Technical Training Associate Manager to lead training activities At Aerojet Rocketdyne in Camden, Arkansas. This position will provide leadership and Training/Instruction solutions for the Camden site. Also responsible for developing and maintaining documentation relating to those specific training programs. Works on problems exercising judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Participates with customers in making and approving training decisions and authorizes their implementation.

Essential Functions:

  • Provides technical training services for AR’s Camden site.

  • Researches, develops, and maintains training course materials and documentation.

  • Interfaces with customers and AR/ L3Harris staff to ensure training requirements and instructional materials are current and complete.

  • Compiles and analyzes student test data and course results to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, and to adjust training task selection, objectives, instructional techniques, and evaluations to best meet customer training needs. Recommends modifications to training programs where appropriate.

  • Develops and updates as needed training materials.

  • Conducts classroom-style training as needed.

  • Provides onsite training/

  • Maintains an issue knowledgebase to document specific training issues related to the course.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 4 years prior experience, 2 year post-secondary/AA Degree and 8 years prior experience or Graduate Degree with 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite to include Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

  • Ability to operate personal computer, printers, scientific calculator, copy machine and other general office equipment.

  • Outstanding communication (written and verbal) skills.

  • Possess excellent technical skills to understand and translate information into presentable instructional material.

  • Understand ITAR policies and procedures.
