Job Description:
L3Harris Corporation is currently seeking a high-energy Program Manager to lead the growth and execution of Production programs within the Maritime C5ISR business. The PM will have a unique end-to-end life cycle management opportunity to leverage decades of L3Harris experience in C5ISR and Machinery Control solutions to shape next generation solutions with customers, build a portfolio of new business, and own its profitability in execution.
- Work scope includes, but is not limited to, developing trusted relationships with internal and external customers, leading the execution of Production programs, coordinating with capture resources to shape new pursuit and follow-on production program requirements and defining winning solutions, leveraging IR&D investment, to positioning L3Harris to successfully win and execute business in this market.
- The individual must be able to work across a matrixed organization, influence outcomes, and possess both strong Program Management fundamentals and competitive capture experience. This is a high visibility position, and the candidate can expect regular executive engagement internally and within the customer community.
- This position has functional authority for planning, organization, control, documentation, tracking, integration, financial monitoring and completion of customer programs. While working closely with the Business Development, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain community both internal and external, Operations and Quality departments.
- This position may manage proposal efforts from customer requirements definition through solution definition to negotiation and contract award. The successful candidate must be able to create and maintain a collaborative work environment; set goals; give clear direction to the team and provide decisive and constructive feedback; empower individuals to take ownership for their assignments; identify and capture funded program growth in addition to facilitating capture of new opportunities with customers; and demonstrate and insist on ethical and professional behavior in accordance with company values.
Essential Functions:
- Work collaboratively with and act as primary point of contact for Customer stakeholders for each assigned L3Harris subsystem.
- Manage cost, schedule and technical performance on multiple, parallel development, production and qualification efforts.
- Develop and monitor financial forecasts, EAC, invoicing and receivables on a monthly, quarterly and annual review basis
- Coordinate resource requirements (Staffing) with subsystem Program Managers and work with functional leadership to assure that issues are addressed in a timely manner
- Lead the risk and opportunity management reviews for all assigned subsystems
- Develop Monthly performance assessment and support Customer, and Executive Management reviews
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
- Experience with Fixed Price contracts and Fixed Price major subcontracts.
- Experience with Government contracting requirement, such as FAR, ITAR, etc.
- Experience with DOD/MIL standards and military equipment qualification process
- Expert EVMS knowledge demonstrated on successful production programs.
- US Secret Security Clearance required
- Required to work full time onsite and able to travel up to 15% of the time
Preferred Additional Skills:
- A degree in Engineering, Business, Math, Science or related technical field highly preferred.

- Soft skills (I.E. Proficient in SAP, MS Office, Strong communication…)
- Excellent analytical, project management and organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Project Management Institute (PMI) Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification or working towards certification
- Proven ability to lead parallel development and deployment efforts through delivery and trials
- Demonstrated track record successfully transitioning new products and systems through qualification and into production
- Demonstrated ability to lead Proposal Development and Capture efforts
