We are seeking interns for summer 2025 to support our production planning team. This position will be located in our Camden, Arkansas facility.
Esstential Functions:
Develop and implement manufacturing build plans to meet customer contractual delivery schedules.
Utilize Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) system to input Master Schedule build plans, track material availability, status kit readiness, release shop orders, and maintain all shop order records and inventory integrity.
Update and maintain make items lead times within MRP system.
Manage floor stock of program components.
Work jointly with Manufacturing and Quality teams to execute build schedule and address any issues in a timely manner.
Work with Materials Planners to proactively manage the schedule and material dock dates to ensure accuracy of planning.
Provide hardware status, updates and performance statistics to program team based on status of hardware through Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or other related degree.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge and/or experience in scheduling or supply chain planning preferred.
Strong computer and analytical skills combined with the ability to manage large amounts of quantitative data.
Proficient in the use Microsoft Office software; working knowledge of relational data bases.
Knowledge and/or experience with Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) or other enterprise planning and scheduling suite.
Ability to actively listen to customer and plant issues, efficiently troubleshoot problems and implement solutions in a timely and customer focused manner.
Demonstrated analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
Proficient organization, conflict management, and adaptable in a rapidly changing environment.
