Job Schedule: 4/10: Employees work 10 hours per day, 4 days a week
Job Description:
Duties will include answering phones, initiating work orders, gathering manufacturer's recommended maintenance data, closing out Work Orders, logging data, maintaining spreadsheets, researching parts/vendors/data, maintaining maintenance files, and creating and compiling reports. This position working under minimal supervision will require an individual with good attention to detail and good clerical skills. Competency in the use of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
Essential Functions:
- 60%- Clerical/Entering data/answering phone/filing
- 30%- Processing Work Requests & Scheduling Work Orders
- 10%- Gathering data throughout the facility
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related Maintenance Department experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 4 years of prior related Maintenance Department experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Valid state issued Driver's License.
- Available to work any shift, weekends, holidays and be on call as needed.
- Proficient in the use of productivity software, including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Oracle preferred.
- Knowledge of maintenance supply, parts acquisitions and computer systems.
- Maintenance Department experience a plus
- Knowledge of Preventative Maintenance, tools, machining and Project management would be a plus.
- Inventory, tools, and parts knowledge preferred.
- Excellent people skills
- Very safety and environmentally conscious.
