Job Description:
Under the general guidance of the Internal Audit IT Manager:
Develop and maintain working knowledge of Information Technology and Information System subject areas including but not limited to: NIST, FAR and Cybersecurity. Responsible for supporting technical research, ensuring compliance with U.S. Government regulations, and developing audit observations based on situational facts and regulations. Support audits of L3Harris Information Technology functions global-wide, with emphasis on assessment of internal controls. Help define audit scope and direction, develop audit programs, and perform test procedures designed to analyze key systems and related process controls. Effectively interact with and communicate results to auditees and audit leadership.
Essential Functions:
- Assist with the planning and performance of audits of L3Harris Information Technology functions with emphasis on assessment of internal controls related to IT, financial, operational and compliance risks
- Independently and objectively execute audits in accordance with professional auditing standards
- Perform walkthroughs and test procedures to analyze key processes and controls
- Help determine audit scope and direction, develop audit programs and perform walk through and test procedures to analyze key process and controls
- Prepare written workpapers and assist in creating audit reports, documenting audit work performed, and providing formal recommendations to the business for review and implementation
- Effectively interact with and communicate results to auditees, audit management and other key stakeholders
- Interact with a wide variety of people with tact, courtesy and professionalism
- Maintain a regular, dependable attendance and a consistently high level of performance
- Keeps abreast of company policies and procedures and current developments in the auditing profession
- Assist with the risk assessment process which will form the basis of the annual internal audit plan
- Travel up to 20% including some international locations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Demonstrated knowledge of key domains of information technology general controls, business process controls and entity level controls.
- Understanding of business process risks and internal controls
- Self-motivated and diligent who is also capable of working effectively in a team environment
- Broad understanding of Cyber Security Principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively with a variety of levels and positions in the organization
- Data analytics experience using Alteryx, PowerBI, Power Automate, Power Apps, UiPath, or Blue Prism
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado State, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Vermont and New York State is $56,500 - $105,500. For California, Seattle, Washington D.C., Maryland Greater Washington D.C. area, the city of Denver, Washington State and New York City, the salary range for this role is $65,500 - $121,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
