At L3Harris, in our Intelligence & Cyber International (ICI) division, we work closely with governments, defence agencies and industry partners to shape and build cutting-edge solutions that combat the ever-evolving cyber security and electronic warfare threats.
The Marketing Business Partner role is a key and varied role within the division, reporting to the Director of Strategic Marketing and Communications.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and executing marketing strategy, managing events and facilitating internal and external communications to position the organisation effectively in support of achieving business growth ambition.
This is a specialist role, where influence, credibility with stakeholders, and exceptional networking/communications skills are required in order to navigate the complexities of a large global defence organisation, a matrix structure, and diverse technologies.
This is a hybrid role with working from home available alongside office-based working from our Tewkesbury site.
What the role will involve
If you are successful in your application, the responsibilities of your role will include the following:
- Collaboration and engagement with key internal stakeholders at all levels and across the business
- Liaison with external suppliers and agencies in support of a range of marketing activities
- Managing and delivering exhibitor and sponsorship packages at key industry events
- Working with the Marketing Content Writer to co-develop compelling copy
- Working with the wider Marketing and Communications team to effectively position campaign activities externally and internally
- Monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of marketing activities against KPIs
- Managing product/capability brands and new launches in alignment with corporate positioning strategy
What you’ll bring
The role of Marketing Business Partner requires the following experience and skills:
- Previous experience within a relevant marketing profession with either a recognised apprenticeship, appropriate degree, formal qualification or equivalent relevant work experience
- Understanding of integrated marketing campaigns
- Experience of event management and delivery
- Experience of digital marketing techniques
- Experience of reporting against KPIs/ ROI
- Understanding a wide range of methods/formats of communication
- Significant experience using Adobe suite including InDesign and Photoshop
- Good interpersonal skills to allow effective collaboration with both front end and technical staff and the ability to work across functions
- Ability to plan and prioritise work to meet team objectives and deadlines
- A continuous improvement mind-set and a strive for excellence
