Job Description:
L3Harris BCS is seeking a Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) Supervisor to lead MRO Planners covering various programs at the Salt Lake City facility. Primary job role consist of managing a team of 10+ employees responsible for all planning, costs, scope and schedule for repairs ranging across multiple contracts. Applicants must also be familiar with MRO planning, SAP, MRO scheduling methods, and be able to provide mentoring, leadership and excellent internal customer support. Must be capable of functioning in a highly technical environment, dealing with a wide variety of communication type products in a demanding, results-driven atmosphere. Must be capable of addressing significant workload challenges without sacrificing quality requirements. This position may require overtime, weekend, holiday and/or second shift work.
Essential Functions:
- Expert knowledge of MRO planning processes and tools.
- Capable of developing training and metrics to help their team improve in all areas of their job roles.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and PCs is required.
- Experience with MRO is highly preferred.
- Experience with SAP or other ERP/MRP systems.

- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Adaptability and agility in an evolving workplace environment, while efficiently responding to new Information guidelines, and methodologies.
- Established analytical skills, focused on the ability to identify and implement creative solutions to complex problems.
- Understanding of the concepts, principles, processes, and procedures required to actively manage MRO schedules.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment while demonstrating the skills needed to effectively avoid and resolve conflict.
- Interpret basic engineering instructions and drawings.
- Understand various manufacturing processes and methods.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 4 years prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/ associate’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
