Job Description:

L3Harris Space Superiority group has an opening for a Senior Specialist, Integration & Test Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be in Rockwall, TX. The individual will work in a fast-paced environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and a collaborative team setting.

This position will support the test effort for development of multiple ground-based mission systems and operations center from program inception to test verification and deployment. The Lead Integration & Test Engineer will define complex test strategies to verify mission capabilities while working with a team comprised of multiple internal organizations and subcontractors for the full integration and test of the mission system. The test engineer will be a point-of-contact for the government customer for test planning and will coordinate across government and stakeholder offices to define the test and evaluation plan.

Essential Functions: 

• Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases based on system requirements.
• Execute manual and automated tests to ensure software performance meets the high standards required for L3Harris operations.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs through to resolution.
• Collaborate with software developers to identify system requirements and resolve issues.
• Participate in design reviews and provide input on requirements, product design, and potential problems.
• Analyze test results, detect issues, and track root causes in collaboration with the development team.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6-9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4-6 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10-12 years of prior related experience.
• Active Secret or Top Secret or TS/SCI Clearance.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Excellent organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills in a collaborative team environment.
• Proficiency with Python programming.
• Proficiency with Unix/Linux.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with automated system testing.
• Experience with Agile & DevOps methodology and culture.
