Job Description:
This role isresponsible for managing the cost, schedule, and technical performance requirements of international programs through all phases from inception to completion. This role will be responsible for a team of Program Managers who are executing moderate to complex programs of substantial importance to the organization.
Essential Functions:
- Drive program execution to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow for new, continuing, or current programs.
- Work with Sales, international customers, and in-country representatives to determine and identify needs, requirements and new opportunities.
- Oversee the completion and delivery of program CDRLs, monitor and ensure all CHQ/PMX Program requirements are being followed and reviews are completed.
- Support the team with the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, offset, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contracts.
- Ensure that all resources such as engineering staffing, production and facilities are available to support the program.
- Support and guide the team in their career development and growth.
- Experience managing development projects
- Experience managing and scheduling program budgets
- Experience managing a team
- Fluent English speaker
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant Program Management experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related Program Management experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related Porgram Management experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Master’s degree, MBA preferred
- Defense industry experience desired
- PMP Certification desired
- Experience in Earned Value Management
- Familiarity with Defense and Aerospace industry
- Direct customer interface experience
- Experience managing international programs
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York State is $130,500 - $242,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
