Job Description: SAS1 Government Compliance is seeking a Specialist that will be responsible for a wide variety of detailed financial analysis, audit support/lead, and other special projects within the Government Compliance organization. This position will interface with local and segment level functions including but not limited to: Financial Planning and Analysis, Cost Planning, Accounting, Compliance POCs, and external government customers.
Essential Functions:
- Support with preparation of the Annual Final Incurred Cost Proposal
- Facilitiate various government audits and reviews with DCAA/DCMA or other government regulatory agencies. This may include but not limited to audits related to: Final Incurred Cost Proposals, Forward Pricing Rate Proposals, Cost Accounting Standards, Business Systems, and Mandatory Annual Audit Requirements (i.e. MAAR 6 & MAAR 13)
- Assist with ad hoc requests/analysis and special projects regarding compliance issues as needed
- Create and maintain documentation related to audit procedures
- Prepare and provide compliance-related training, as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in the aerospace/government contracting environment. OR Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- 2+ Years experience interpreting and applying FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations), DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement) and CAS (Cost Accounting Standards)
- 3+ Years experience with Microsoft office (Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Excellent analytical skills. Attention to detail with the ability to effectively summarize analyses, where appropriate.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
