Job Description:

L3Harris is seeking a Systems Engineering Senior Specialist to sustain the Integrated Broadcast Service (IBS) system for our location on the island of Guam to support the US Department of Defense.

• Develops complex technical solutions to allow US Forces to access IBS
• Maintains equipment, ensures proper system operation, updates software, performs critical equipment alignments and troubleshoots complex software, system and equipment utilized with IBS
• Integrates system upgrades to existing operational processors
• Coordinates technical requirements with system users throughout multiple locations and resolves technical deficiencies
• Provides technical support to the complex system architectures and monitors system utilization
• Responsible for software operating verification prior to network implementation
• Ability to obtain a CompTIA Security + certification or higher within the first 6 months
• Willingness and ability to relocate to an overseas location
• Able to work non-standard and extended hours depending upon customer mission requirements
• Thorough knowledge/understanding of computers, networks, and cryptographic equipment operations and sustainment

Qualifications:

• Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance
• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
• 4 years experience with IBS network operations and sustainment

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Operational experience with Common Integrated Broadcast Uplink Site system
• Current CompTIA Security+ and/or equivalent certification
