As the premier provider of Space Ground Systems (SGS) mission solutions for the United States Space Force, Wideband SATCOM Operations and Technical Support (WSOTS) II provides support for the military’s wideband SATCOM missions including O&M support of the Wideband SATCOM Operational Management Systems (WSOMS). L3Harris Technologies is in search of a detail-oriented Full Stack Software Engineer who is adept in JavaScript frameworks and DevSecOps pipelines and possesses a strong command over HTML, CSS, and WCAG Accessibility guidelines. The candidate will be responsible for creating robust, secure, and accessible web applications that meet the highest standards of quality and user experience. This position is onsite located in Colorado Springs, CO and requires a Top Secret Security Clearance.
Essential Functions:
- Working under general oversight, provide solutions with strong knowledge of job area and broad knowledge of project workflow management tools (e.g., JIRA).
- Design, develop, and test full stack web applications for large-scale operational systems.
- May manage large projects or processes that are both inside and outside of immediate job area.
- Work consists of making moderate to substantial improvement or enhancements to systems and processes to improve performance of job area.
- Communicates within and outside of own function or business area and has responsibility for communicating with parties external to the organization.
- Up to 10% travel may be required, including international travel.
- Ability to obtain Security+ certification within 90 days of start
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4-6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2-4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8-10 years of prior related experience.
- Active U.S. DoD Top Secret or TS/SCI Security clearance.
- Experience developing full stack applications in Node.js and ECMAScript 6+ (ES6).
- DevSecOps experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines utilizing Jenkins, Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Agile software development and the software development lifecycle.
- Experience utilizing team collaboration tools (Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket).
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience developing software in ECMAScript or TypeScript.
- Experience with Svelte frontend framework,
- Experience with Cloud Native Technologies (microservices, containers, Docker, Kubernetes, DevOps, etc.).
- Knowledgeable in software security and DISA STIG application,
- Knowledgeable of WCAG 2.0/2.1 Accessibility guidelines,
- Excellent people skills, with experience leading and collaborating in a multi-disciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team environment.
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, & presentation).

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $85,000 - $177,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
