Job Description:
Test Engineering supplies our internal/external customers with efficient testing solutions. The Production Planner is critical to the success of our department. We have several projects and programs that need to be simultaneously tracked to meet business needs. The Production Planner will ensure jobs enter our system correctly and the work tickets contain the information we need to be successful. The Production Planner will ensure material is delivered on time and we meet/exceed customer expectations. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a cross-functional team. This role supports over $10M in capital and direct department expense planning to support over $2B in revenue.
Essential Functions:
- Plans, schedules, coordinates and/or monitors final approval of test station/fixtures/cables through the complete production cycle to meet production and new product launch requirements.
- Create workflow in the MRP system in conjunction with the build team.
- Analyze BOM and production specifications to ensure materials are provided according to schedules.
- Advises management of the status of work in progress, coordinates with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain and interfaces with engineering and program management as well as external customers.
- Works to resolve labor and material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions.
- Confirms material supply and demands, prepares work orders based on the project schedule.
- Hold Clear To Build (CTB) meetings.
- Prior experience using MS Office programs, enterprise resource planning systems (ERP), and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
- Proven record showing the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a cross-functional team.
- Proficiency in Excel – used to create reports and data load transactions into Oracle
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience or Graduate Degree and 0 to 2 years of prior related experience or a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.

- Understanding of Inventory Control processes.
- Ability to work with multiple departments.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $50,500 - $93,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
