Job Description:
L3H is seeking a talented customer-focus full stack mid-level software engineer to join the transformation, modernization and modification of launch test and range systems (LTRS) in support to a space mission. The selected candidate will join a dynamic team that provides a hybrid support at customer site. The team will develop common, centralized, and integrated systems, employment of cloud infrastructure, software factory and software development services, and cyber security strategies to facilitate data-driven range activities, digital processing, and data distribution.
Essential Functions:
- Collaborates with customers and team members as part of an Agile lifecycle to gather, understand, and refine platform and application requirements.
- Supports the development and continuous engineering of operational range applications.
- Supports implementation and improvement of the infrastructure with DEVSECOPS automation in IT service capacity and demand management.
- Understands platforms built and infrastructure needed to support automation of application development and release.
- Follows DevSecOps best practices for full security integration, infrastructure as code, operational visibility, and site reliability engineering practices to create scalable and highly reliable systems.
- Travels (driving distance) regularly to the customer site.
- Familiar with public and hybrid cloud technologies like PaaS, IaaS, and SaaS.
- Familiar with Kubernetes and Containers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 4 years of software experience or Master's degree and 2 years of software experience. In lieu of degree, 8 years of software experience.
- SECRET Clearance
- Experience with Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot
- Experience working with messaging and streaming brokers like RabbitMQ and Kafka
- Experience developing applications using relational and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with UI frameworks like React/Angular
- Experience building secure cloud native services.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience with Agile process and methodologies
- Experience with Assured Access to Space (AATS) mission
- Experience in building and deploying distributed microservices.
- Experience working with customer and cross functional teams.
IIn compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $90,000 - $167,000 This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays.
