Job Title: Finisher - Level C - 2nd Shift

Job Description:

      Work with various equipment to perform the following functions:

• Use protective tape to mask and unmask per work instruction.
• Use proper sanding equipment and appropriate sandpaper grit according to surface preparation.
• Mix and apply various sealants and adhesives and ensure integrity per work instruction (process standards)
• Observe industry best practices for FOD, 5S, and material handling controls.
• Ability to spray various prime and topcoat paint coatings with a spray painter according to MIL -Spec.
• Ability to mix and prime and paint per finishing standard.
• Ensure all safety requirements are followed, including PPE, safety glasses, steel toe shoes, and face mask.
• Promote and facilitate lean manufacturing principles within an environment of continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate records and manufacturing documentation.
• Ensure that all shop instruments and materials used are within calibration due dates.
• Initiates proper procedures in coating materials to various surfaces spraying.
• Ensures items are properly coated and meets surface protection requirements.
• Read and understand detailed blueprints and operation sheets.
• Exceptional organizational skills & ability to manage multiple projects and assignment.
• Strong communication skills: interpersonal, presentation, oral and written.

Qualifications:

• Requires minimal job knowledge/skills. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 0 to 3 years of prior related experience.
• Requires the ability to read and understand directions in English.
