About the role
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Director to lead our National In-Service Support Programs. The ISS Progam Director is responsible for providing the leadership and management required in the planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, reporting and successful closing of all allocated programs. Through utilising L3Harris policies and processes, the ISS Program Director drives the delivery of program scopes on-time, within budget and with the desired outcomes aligned to organisational and client objectives.
In this role, your primary remit is to act as the point of liaison between the project teams and senior management, monitoring and regularly reporting to stakeholders on all ISS programs. Your core routines will be centred around developing and executing IMSA's vision and strategy for growth and operational excellence. Day to day, your activities will include but not be limited to: leading the National In-Service Support portfolio to meet customer needs and financial targets, defining and managing project objectives, scope, and resources, overseeing project deliverables and acting as the main liaison between IMSA and our commonwealth stakeholders.
About you
To be successful in this role and to best leverage the opportunities provided by L3Harris, some skills & experience ideal applicants will bring include;
- Significant Defence industry experience preferably in complex system programs
- Expert proficiency with Project Management in the ASDEFCON environment
- Practiced experience leading multiple project teams
- Subcontract Management or administration experience
- Concise written and verbal communication ability, tailorable to all organisational levels
- Demonstrated experience with Earned Value Management and complex negotiations
Applications must be be flexible with work hours and be willing to travel overseas or interstate periodically to support program activities.
Self-starting, inquisitive and highly driven individuals, with a genuine passion for program delivery, are best suited to the performance profile of this role.
