ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

L3Harris MAPPS is seeking an experienced program finance analyst who will be responsible for the financial control of large programs. The incumbent will work as a key business partner to Program Managers and functional teams to establish and maintain the program’s financial plan, perform analyses and prepare reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and cost control guidelines. The incumbent will coordinate program level preparation and maintenance of financial forecasts, including orders, sales, operating income and cash for the Monthly Forecast Review (MFR). The incumbent will work well in a team environment, learn how to manage time efficiently, and able to work on multiple programs at the same time with attention to detail as the employee presents his/her analysis in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and Statistics) including coordinating, preparing, and analyzing various financial reports and data prior to submission;
  • Weekly closure analysis and reporting for Orders, Sales, Operating Income, and Cash flow;
  • Assist in preparation of the MAPPS Consolidated Annual Operating Plan (AOP);
  • Special topic financial analysis as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting;
  • 3-5 years of experience in an accounting / finance role
  • Strong Knowledge in Microsoft Office Software;
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Highly organized and ability to manage multiple priorities;
  • Knowledge of SAP an asset;
  • Detailed oriented with strong accounting and finance skills
  • Detail-oriented: The ability to pay close attention to detail while remaining accurate is crucial in the analysis of large collections of data;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Focused on teamwork and collaboration;
  • Good communication skills (French & English);
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written English proficiency.
