Job Description:

Essential Functions:

  • Experience configuring, monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting RedHat Linux systems.
  • Experience developing and maintaining automation scripts for system provisioning, configuration, and maintenance tasks using tools like Ansible, Terraform and Packer.
  • Experience implementing, maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting Splunk, Tripwire/AIDE, Tenable SC, and malware solutions.
  • Experience with cloud engineering or administration (AWS GovCloud)
  • Experience with scripting languages (Python or BASH)
  • Familiarity with implementing and maintaining security controls in compliance with DoD security frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), agile system development, and DevSecOps tools and processes
  • Work is 100% remote


  • Education:
  •      Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of relevant experience OR
  •      Master’s Degree and minimum 4 years of relevant experience OR
  •      In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years prior related experience
  • Must be able to get a Public Trust 

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • DOD 8570 IAT Level 2 Certification (Sec +)
  • Current Linux Certifications such as:
    • RedHat Certification (RHCSA or RHCE)
    • CompTIA Linux+
  • AWS Cloud Certifications
    • AWS Certified Solutions Architect
    • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator
    • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
    • AWS Security Specialty
  • Security administration experience in support of RMF requirements
  • Demonstrated knowledge RMF and cybersecurity requirements.
  • Ability to integrate RMF principles into ground-up builds.
  • Previous experience supporting DoD & IC Government customers.
  • Experience with continuous integration, build management, and/or automated test frameworks.
  • Hardware/software requirement verification/system validation experience
  • Experience with Jira and Bitbucket / GitLab
  • Experience supporting DoD/government customers.
  • Understanding of network security principles, VPN, firewalls, and IDS/IPS.
  • Experience with project management principles and tools (Agile, Scrum)
  • Experience working closely with Development Teams to support DevOps
