Job Description:
L3Harris is hiring for a Software Engineer in the Test Engineering organization to develop automated tests for product testing.
Essential Functions:
- Develop automated test
- Familiar with NI TestStand and LabVIEW programming language
- Work closely with hardware and system engineers in Test Engineering team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- An ABET (EAC/CAC) accredited Bachelor's with a year of experience in an Engineering discipline (preferably Software Engineering) experience
- Understanding of engineering process and design concepts along with an understanding of the engineering practices and procedures required to develop, test and deploy test systems
- Presentation and communication skills (verbal/written/visual)
- Effective problem solving skills and the ability to meet critical deadlines
- Demonstrated experience with planning and effectively coordinating projects
- Experience with LabVIEW and TestStand development
- Understanding of software practices and L3Harris programs and products
- Have analytical, project management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
- Excellent computer skills with a strong proficiency in Windows interface, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Microsoft Project
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
