Job Description:
As an Alternate COMSEC Account Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the COMSEC Manager in the handling of sensitive Communications Security (COMSEC) material and ensuring the integrity of our secure communications operations. This role requires a high level of responsibility, ability to work independently, attention to detail, and a commitment to safeguarding classified information.
Essential Functions:
- Assist in COMSEC Account management according to National Security Agency (NSA) regulations and company policies.
- Perform COMSEC material receiving, inventory and shipping.
- Maintain accurate records and accountability for COMSEC material holdings.
- Conduct regular inventories and inspections to ensure security protocol compliance.
- Provide training and guidance to personnel on proper COMSEC procedures and practices.
- Respond to emergency situations or security incidents involving COMSEC material.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support secure communications requirements.
- Ensure the secure destruction of COMSEC material as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
- Active SECRET security clearance is required
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance post-hire.
- Knowledge and experince using inventory management, SIMs database, and DIAS databases.
- In-depth knowledge of NSA COMSEC policies and procedures.
- Experience with defense industry shipping and receiving of COMSEC materials.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions under minimal supervision.
