Job Description:
L3Harris is seeking a qualified candidate to join our team in an Inventory Management Support position in support of test engineering. This team member will perform physical and administrative tasks involved in inventory management including receiving, organizing, storing, auditing, documenting, kitting, and the distribution of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. This position is in a fast-paced environment with a cross-functional team.
Essential Functions:
- Efficient, timely, and accurate inventory transactions
- Dropoff and pickup material frequently from the dock, calibration lab and other areas as needed—multiple trips per day
- Communicate with the team and customers throughout the day
- Find and correct errors as they come up in real time
- Owner of the Cycle Count process and inventory accuracy
- Ability to effectively multitask
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow and resolve movement of material using transaction history MRP systems
- Ability to work with planning, quality, operations, and engineering to highlight and resolve issues
- Experience in MRP
- Proficiency with Excel
- Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 6 years prior experience in Inventory Management, 2 year post-secondary/AA Degree and 2 years prior experience in Inventory Management
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Ability to analyze and reconcile on hand discrepancies between MRP systems in Oracle
- Experience supporting and resolving system interface issues
- Experience leading a cycle count process as required by internal/external auditors
- Investigate and reconcile cycle count discrepancies
- Experience with a replenishment process for product material
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York State is $35,780-$66,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
