Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Software Developer to join our team and contribute to the ongoing evolution of our Communications Planning Application (CPA) and MissionOps software. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in object-oriented programming and a commitment to excellence.
Essential Functions:
- Conduct research, design, and development of application software for desktop and multi-tier architectures.
- Draft and scrutinize software requirements to guide design within specified time and budget constraints.
- Execute coding, perform unit testing, and conduct peer reviews to ensure software integrity.
- Address and rectify software defects, enhancing quality and fulfilling customer expectations.
- Actively participate in Agile software development process as a dedicated member of an Agile Scrum team.
- Adhere to software development protocols in a disciplined CMMI Level 3 environment with minimal travel requirements (less than 5%).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience in Software development.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Proficiency in C#/.NET programming.
- Experience with RESTful API's
- Some experience with Java programming or full stack development.
- Familiarity with databases
- Experience with continuous integration tools (Jenkins).
- Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Agile Scrum Master certifications or experience.
- Knowledge of CMM/CMMI systems and software development processes.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $78,000 - $145,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
