Job Location: Palm Bay, FL
Job Description:
- Perform personnel security clearance coordination and processing activities
- Strong knowledge of personnel security disciplines that allows for direct interaction with customer personnel security representatives
- Proficient in personnel security databases that are utilized by both the DoD and IC (i.e.DISS, JADE)
- Manage and generate reports from internal personnel security databases (i.e.SIMS)
- Generates/maintains monthly personnel security metrics charts
- Occasionally assist with classified courier/visitor escorting and document destruction duties
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products in order to efficiently support the program security team
- Must have excellent organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy
- Verbal and written communication skills are essential
- Prepare and maintain continuity books and procedures for multiple security functions
- Must possess excellent people skills and the ability to perform in high stress environments
- Assist Program Security Officers with generating and presenting program security related material as needed
Qualifications:
- An active security clearance is required; TS (TS/SCI preferred)
- High School diploma and six years of related security experience
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Possession or in pursuit of a 2-year college degree
- Self-starter who can work independently and as a member of a team
- Knowledge and oversight in multiple security disciplines, to include Personnel Security for Special Access Programs (SAPs)
