Job Description:
The RC-135 Business Area is seeking a Finance Manager with proven ability to drive process improvements, establish clear financial cadence, lead a team, and create strong partnerships with program managers and key functional stakeholders. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization
Essential Responsibilities:
- Create strong partnerships with Program Managers and other key stakeholders
- Manage a team of direct reports
- Provide leadership and mentorship to finance professionals
- Assess and quantify business risks and opportunities associated with orders, sales, profit, and case
- Support development of Strategic and Annual Operating Plan
- Ensure Business financial goals are met
- Interface with all levels of the organization
- Address staffing needs
- Support customer deliverables
- Performing analyses and prepares reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines
- Ensure alignment of Program Excellence strategy, processes, and tools across the sector
- Interface cross functionally with Program Managers, Schedulers, Program Finance, and other key stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance which requires U.S. citizenship
- Must have leadership experience of at least 1 year
- Must have prior Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience.
- Must have previous Program Controls experience
Preferred Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to partner with PMs and functional leaders
- Experience interfacing with and presenting to executive leadership
- Ability to create executive level briefings
- Ability to work in a fast pace and challenging environment
- Prior proven leadership experience
- Experience being a change agent
