About the opportunity:

L3Harris is seeking an experienced Project Officer role to support the Airservices Australia (AsA) Enterprise Network Modernization Program (ASA-ENMP). This role supports the Delivery of Project outputs and Program outcomes for the Program located in Melbourne, Australia.

The responsibilities of your role will include the following:

The successful candidate will be directly supporting Program and Project managers. The ideal candidate is also skilled in evaluating the Customer’s needs and objectives, developing high level concepts, communicating with stakeholders, and able to lead teams through proposal cost, schedule and risk evaluations. Some other responsibilities include: 

  • Support Program and Project Managers in ENMP Program delivery.
  • Administrative support of Project and Program Artefacts aligned with set policies and procedures.
  • Planning and Coordination of Program activities, outputs and tasks.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal communications skills. Clear verbal and written skills.
  • Preparing and facilitating the delivery of Program and Project reports.
  • Support the development and implementation of ENMP Program and Business Policies and Practices
  • Coordinate the interdependencies of Project and Program deliveries that may include, Terrestrial, Non-Terrestrial, carriage service, Equipment, designs and site access.
  • Contributing to a successful outcome of programmatic assurance and governance activities.
  • Assist with Program planning and reviews.
  • Assisting with the development of top-level scopes of work and managing flow down to lower level SOWs;
  • Managing risk and opportunity with internal and external customers. Working with the Project manager, technical and contracts teams to identify, mitigate and close program risks;
  • Other duties as directed.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2-4 (2+) years Project Coordination Experience.
  • BA/BSc in business administration or relevant field
  • Practical experience in delivery of a Project and or Program
  • Project Management Qualifications are well regarded
