Job Title: Human Resources Leadership Development Program Associate
Job Location: Melbourne, FL
L3Harris’ Human Resources Leadership Development Program (HRLDP) is designed to accelerate the development of aspiring future HR leaders, growing L3Harris’ pipeline of agile and mobile HR leaders. The three-year program consists of three, 12-month high-impact rotations that cut across businesses, HR functional areas, and U.S. locations. Participants will gain exposure to HR executives, interact with business leaders, and receive comprehensive developmental support, training, and mentorship.
Over the course of the program, the HRLDP associate will:
- Have at least one 12-month rotation in an HR Business Partner role, where you’ll partner with client groups to build and execute upon talent strategies in alignment with business priorities.
- Have at least one 12-month rotation in a center of excellence (COE) role. COE roles may be in employee relations, total rewards, talent management, people analytics, talent acquisition, or HR operational excellence.
- Work in 2-3 different U.S. locations. Rotations may include but are not limited to Melbourne, FL; Rochester, NY; Greenville, TX; Salt Lake City, UT; Camden, AR; Camden, NJ; Huntsville, AL; and Canoga Park, CA.
- Participate and/or lead enterprise or segment-wide projects and initiatives.
- Take on meaningful work and drive continuous improvements in the employee experience.
- Gain exposure to, network with, and present before executive and senior leadership.
- Receive training, mentorship, and in-role experiences aligned with accelerated leadership development.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing Master’s or MBA with focus in HR management or related field, with anticipated graduation in Spring/Summer 2025.
- Geographically mobile to work anywhere in the U.S. for the entirety of the program and the role immediately following program completion (relocation assistance provided for each required move).
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now and in the future.
Desired Characteristics and Skills:
- At least one internship/three months of HR work experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, SharePoint.
- Eagerness to continuously learn and grow.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, coaching, and consulting skills.
- Team-oriented, builds relationships, and collaborates to help the company succeed.
- Strong analytical skills – can interpret data and trends and succinctly communicate and recommend decisions.
- Challenges the status-quo, links situations to the bigger picture, and innovates to solve problems and drive change.
