Job Description:
L3Harris Space & Sensors Division, headquartered in Mason, Ohio, designs, develops, and manufactures complex systems (electronic, avionics, transceivers, transmitters, electro-optical, and electro-mechanical) for the defense, aerospace, and commercial markets. L3Harris is a recognized leader in Electro-Optical technologies that enable systems to support surveillance, reconnaissance, threat detection, and self-protection missions. Our world-class Space Avionics systems include equipment for Mars Rover/Landers/Orbiters, Launch Vehicles, and Imaging Satellite Communications.
L3Harris is in search of a entry-level professional with broad theoretical job knowledge. Works under general direction and guidance within standard processes for non-routine tasks. Communicates with contacts in own team to explain and interpret information. Contributes to systems and processes changes in work routines. Works to achieve operational targets that impact team results. Contributes to program execution in order to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow for new, continuing, or current programs. Coordinates the preparation of proposals. Coordinates internal and external meetings including content creation. Serves as Control Account Manager for Level of Effort Control Accounts.
Essential Functions:
- Serve as secondary customer contact for program activities.
- Coordinates internal and external program meetings.
- Maintains and manages access to program SharePoint,confluence, and teams sites.
- Serve as Control Account Manager.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in technical discipline (Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, etc.), Business Administration, Management, or related field.
- Must be eligible for security clearance.
- Must be PMP® certified or attainment within 2 years of hire.
- Ability to travel up to 20%
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) and MS Project.
- 0 to 2 years or more experience with program planning, earned value management, supply chain, risk management, quality control, production control, and product costing tools.
