Job Location: Huntsville, AL
Job Description:
- The intern will Aid the Technical Specialist Team in performing Jurisdiction and Classification (J&C) of product parts from across the enterprise using the OCR EASE Export Classification tool.
- Review of material specifications against commercial specifications for potential cost savings, or identification of technical need for deviation, identifying proper Schedule B and HTS categories for US Customs activities, and support Empowered Officials with review of technical information intended for public release.
Qualifications:
- Enrolled in Mechanical Engineering Bachelor’s degree program or similar.
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to network across functions to gather needed information
- Attention to Detail oriented
- Works well in team environment
